Hearing care that's more than the hearing aid.
We built Kun Hearing around a simple belief: getting the right hearing aid is only the beginning. Your care needs a whole system working together: the provider, your understanding of your hearing, the strategies you carry home, and the support that follows.
Patients come to us and finally feel heard.
Many of our patients come to us after frustrating experiences elsewhere.
Dr. Kun founded this practice on a belief she holds firmly: hearing care is about the communication ecosystem. That includes the hearing aids, but also the provider relationship, your own understanding of your hearing, the strategies you and your communication partners learn, and the ongoing support that keeps it all working over time.
Dr. Valerie T. Kun
Owner & Board-Certified Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Kun completed her doctorate at Northwestern University after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Cal State LA. She holds ABA Board Certification, CCC-A, a Tinnitus Management Certificate, and Fellowship in the American Academy of Audiology. She built this practice on one belief: patients deserve more thorough testing, hearing aids verified to a real prescription, and a provider who listens as carefully as they measure.
William Zhan, BS
Business Operations
William keeps Kun Hearing running smoothly, overseeing everything from scheduling and referrals to the day-to-day logistics that lets Dr. Kun focus entirely on patient care. Born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, he lived there for 14 years before moving to the U.S. and earning his B.S. in mechanical engineering from UC Riverside.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys cooking, spending time with his family, and with Kodi the Husky.
The values we bring to every appointment.
These aren't aspirational words on a wall. They're the reason patients drive past closer clinics to see us, and why they come back and send their families.
